Here’s the current update of everything (or close to it) of events that has transpired since the last entry:

I have a new job working for Verizon Business. I like it thus far and enjoy the people I work with at all levels. The job is a night shift job (7pm – 7am) but I only work a few days (3 days one week then 4 days the next alternatively). Also, when I get home I don’t have any work following me. It is left behind at the office. The only slight downside is the location which is in San Francisco which means I perform the ride a bicycle/ride the train combination.

I have purchased an Amazon Kindle to help me pass the time on my train commute to and from work. So far, I rather enjoy it and Amazon is constantly increasing the number of books/magazines/blogs for it.

I recently have gotten my passport, and my girlfriend has filed for the renewal of hers so hopefully we’ll be able to start traveling a tad outside the US soil.

In early July, my girlfriend and I went down to her family’s for 3 days (she stayed longer but I had to get back up north for work). We went to a hot springs out in the desert mountains with her sister and sister’s boyfriend. I will upload pictures when I get the chance.

Instead of building my own PC, I purchased one from one of my friends who has created his own PC mod start up company SatSun Technologies. I enjoy it immensely and will be going to him again in the future when I have the money for a few more machines.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on June 25th. I got her a new ring (not and engagement ring … at least not yet) and she got me a PS3 (oh yeah, I got a good woman!).

I can’t recall when, but my girlfriend and I traveled up north to Mendocino for a few days. We stayed in a B & B which was by the ocean. Mendocino was really nice and small .. but rather odd and smaller than what even I am used to. Pictures for this will also be uploaded and linked to when I find them and label them. During that trip we traveled a little north of Mendocino to a botanical garden as well as a visit to Fort Bragg. I didn’t care for that place too much, unfortunately. On the way back home we took Highway 1 all the way down to San Francisco which added something like 4 to 5 hours more to the drive home. We didn’t mind it much though and we stopped at various places on the way including a state park and a lighthouse.

Last weekend Adrianna and I went to nearby Mountain View and saw a rock concert. It was my first one and I was very pleased by it. One of my coworkers ended up with two extra tickets and asked if I wanted to go. The frontliners were Sammy Hagar and the Wabos along with the Scorpions. Needless to say most of the people there were around the same age as my parent or so. Also we could smell pot all around us, but never saw any … freaky.

Welp, I believe that about covers it for now. I will be visiting home in the first full week of September so if anyone is going to be in Athens at that time, hit me up on my cell or facebook.

Okay, I know it’s been awhile since I’ve done a post .. but I’ve been a little busy and being in front of the laptop hasn’t been on the top priority lately. However, since I’ve not read up on my daily blogs and news feeds .. I figured today would be a good one to catch up on it all and post some that I found interesting (you know … the usual of this blog site).
